Governance
Board oversight, strategic advisors, and executive leadership guiding HOAIPS mission and accountability.
Governance Structure
HOAIPS is governed by a Board of Directors providing strategic direction, oversight, and accountability. The Board consists of a Chairperson, Vice Chairperson, Secretary, Treasurer, and Member.
The International Board of Advisors — six regional and international experts — provides voluntary strategic and technical advice.
The Institute is led by the Executive Director, responsible for strategic leadership, programme implementation, partnerships, and external representation.

Accountability and Standards
HOAIPS is committed to accountability through diversified funding, internal monitoring and evaluation systems, and adherence to international best practices in non-profit governance. The Institute upholds ethical standards, transparency, and conflict-sensitive practice across all programmes.
How We Are Organised
The Executive Director is supported by a core team including Programme Coordination, Senior Strategic Advisor, Senior Peace and Security Advisor, Finance and Administration, Communications and Media, ICT and Digital Platforms, Partnerships and Resource Mobilisation, and Research and Policy Coordination.
HOAIPS operates through a hub-and-network model with regional experts, country representatives, interns, and volunteers.
