Horn of Africa Institute for Peace and Security (HOAIPS)
Bridging Analysis and Action for Sustainable Peace in the Horn of Africa
Who We Are
HOAIPS is an independent, non-profit, and non-partisan regional institute dedicated to advancing peace, security, and resilience across the Horn of Africa.
As a “think-and-do” institution, HOAIPS bridges the gap between analysis and action—transforming knowledge, policy, and research into practical and scalable solutions. The Institute delivers locally grounded, regionally coordinated, and operationally relevant interventions in one of the world’s most complex and fragile environments.
